Role: Senior Manager, Central Operations & Business Systems

I started my journey with Sporting Life in 2014 as a Men’s Outerwear Sales Associate at our Sherway Gardens location. At the time, Sporting Life was a four-store company with locations in Toronto and Collingwood, and I’ve been fortunate to help support our growth to 14 stores across Canada through new store openings and temporary activations.

While completing my Industrial Engineering degree at the University of Toronto, I grew through many roles including: Cash Manager, Customer Care Lead, National Operations Specialist, Store General Manager, and District Operations Manager.

I’m currently the Senior Manager, Central Operations & Business Systems at Sporting Life Group. My role exists to connect enterprise operations with the systems and technology that enable them, ensuring our stores, Order Management, and Customer Care teams can execute efficiently and deliver a seamless customer experience across all 3 banners: Golf Town, Sporting Life, and Team Town Sports.

My go-to brand is Patagonia because of the versatility and quality across their product range. Whether I need a waterproof shell for rainy weather on the West Coast, a fleece for weekends at the cottage, or a quarter zip for milder days, they always have something that fits the need. I resonate closely with Patagonia’s core values and commitment to sustainability and protecting the future of our planet, while maintaining a focus on quality, integrity and justice.

I live my Sporting Life through staying active year-round, playing tennis and hiking in the warmer months, skiing throughout the winter, and keeping up with trends for weekend city breaks and travel. Working at Sporting Life has taught me that there’s really no such thing as bad weather if you have the right gear and mindset to get outside and enjoy it.
